Job Description
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Generating new business opportunities through proactive research, networking, and outbound outreach.
- Managing existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.
- Presenting and promoting our client's products and services to potential customers with confidence and clarity.
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans to consistently meet or exceed targets.
This is a proactive, customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of sales techniques and account management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and develop new sales leads.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives to offer customized solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure ongoing satisfaction and uncover opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and effective delivery of solutions.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to help improve products and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular insights and reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer needs to the management team.
Structure
- You will be based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
- Full-time position: Monday to Friday (40 hours/week).
- Hybrid work model with flexible office/home-office days to promote well-being and work-life balance.
- We are looking for candidates available for immediate start.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Excellent/fluent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
- Experience working for the US/Canadian markets is considered desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business background is desirable but we are open to evaluating other academic backgrounds in conjunction with relevant work experience
- Some experience or transferable skill from a previous role related to a sales, marketing or sales support role
- Experience of working to time-based targets
- Experience of agile learning (what have you done that shows you can be successful in learning and becoming a sales professional)
